My Reiki Journey

I have always found alternative therapies fascinating. Energy healing, sound therapy, crystals and aromatherapy have always been a hobby, however, as a busy working mum I had limited free time to dedicate to actively learning and practicing them.

In 2021 I went through a period of illness where I struggled to make a recovery. I knew there were things I could do, outside of conventional medicine, that would assist my healing. This is when I had my first Reiki session

During the treatment I felt a deep sense of calm and emotional release. The practitioner told me that I was already channeling through my hands, and thought that it would benefit me to learn about the system of Reiki in order to understand better how to direct it.

I searched for a Reiki Master that I felt drawn to, and went on to learn Reiki level 1 (self healing), and later Reiki level 2 (practitioner). My health improved as I continued to practice, and I know that Reiki played a big part in this.

I am now fully qualified in the Usui Reiki Ryoho method of Reiki and have been approved by and registered with the UK Reiki Federation.
