My Reiki Journey
I have always been interested in things unexplained, such as the power of the mind over matter, sound healing, crystals, homeopathy and spiritual healing. However, as a busy working mum I had limited free time to dedicate to actively learning, so I just enjoyed them as a hobby.
In 2021 I went through a period of illness where I struggled to make a recovery. I knew there were things I could do outside of conventional medicine that would assist me, and this is where I discovered Reiki.
I attended my first Reiki session and it was great! During the treatment I felt a deep sense of calm and emotional release. The practitioner made me aware that I was already an energy channeler, and that it would benefit me to learn about Reiki so as to understand better what it was and how to direct it.
I eventually found a Reiki Master that I was drawn to and went on to learn Reiki level 1 (self healing), and later Reiki level 2 (practitioner). My health improved subsequently, and I know that Reiki has played a big part in this.
I am now fully qualified in the Usui Reiki Ryoho method of Reiki and have been approved by and registered with the UK Reiki Federation.
